I have found that there are many different blogging platforms, each serving a different purpose.
For most bloggers, especially people who want to blog for profit, there’s WordPress as the top choice.
Some people choose Blogger, which is as good as WordPress in many ways, and is cheaper to maintain.
Wix is a competitor to WordPress, and while it’s blogging features are nice, it’s not the same as either WordPress or Blogger.

Weebly is a new player on the market, made by Square, and it’s very nice, too.

WordPress: The Best of the Different Blogging Platforms Of Choice For True Pro Bloggers
WordPress is certainly my favorite blogging platform.
This blog, QuickBlogProfit.com, was built on WordPress.
Specifically, we’re on the Genesis Pro theme package.
I like WordPress because it’s so easy to monetize your blog and earn profits blogging.
All you need to do is set up WordPress on your web hosting account – try BlueHost – and in minutes you can get started blogging.
Most pro bloggers who blog for profit are using WordPress.

Blogger: The Silver Medal for Different Blogging Platforms That’s Built For Google, By Google
Blogger is another great blogging platform with plenty of usage.
Blogger is built by Google, and is offered for free.
If you want to add your own domain, you can do so without any hosting costs, and this certainly is a big advantage for bloggers on the cheap – read more about that here.
Because Blogger is built by Google, it’s got SEO ingrained in its code.
As a result, you have a better chance of getting ranked on Google if you choose Blogger.
Weebly: The Blogging Platform For Casual Beginners
Weebly is a blogging platform and website builder that’s built by Square.
I like Weebly, and have created an account with them to try it.
My feedback is that there aren’t very many blog designs to choose from.
Therefore, it’s probably not your choice yet.
I do believe it has potential, but it doesn’t have the plugins like WordPress, or the blessing from Google like Blogger.
Generally speaking, Weebly is for casual beginners who don’t see much opportunity to monetize their blog, and blog for profit.

If You Choose WordPress, Then You’ll Want WordPress Hosting To Start Your Blog
Starting your WordPress blog is as easy as 1 click.
It all starts with signing up for BlueHost.
BlueHost is the best choice of WordPress hosting for beginner bloggers to start their blog.
We used it for 10 years and loved it.
Recently, Quick Blog Profit switched to WP Engine, and we are happy with the results.
WP Engine is fast, reliable, and has excellent tech support for when you need it.
There are plenty of blogging platforms to choose from.
Here, we have identified the 3 you’re most likely to use: WordPress, Blogger, and Weebly.
WordPress is the blogging platform of choice for pro bloggers, and those who would blog for profit.
One of the biggest reasons for this must be the functionality you get from the plugins.
You can gain SEO value, earn new email subscribers, and gain analytics dashboards to help you blog for profit with more accuracy and precision.
Blogger is a nice choice for bloggers, and it’s generally pretty easy to get ranked on Google to some extent because it’s a Google tool.
That said, it doesn’t have plugins.
I do like that you can host your blog for free with Blogger.
It’s the budget blogger’s best choice.
Weebly is great for casual beginners that are learning for the first time.
To be honest, beginner bloggers should start on WordPress to get past the initial phases of using the tool.
All said, WordPress is my recommendation and my personal choice for QuickBlogProfit.com.
